We tasted through Alicia's lineup with her in France a few months ago and were blown away. More composure than her father's wines usually show when they are young, but with all the same heart, passion, and natty spirit. Alicia's wines stand on their own, with no justification for any notion that she is living in her father's shadow. Laureano named the single vineyard site where the grapes for this wine came from after the place where Napoleon Bonaparte was exiled for his final days in the South Atlantic. A must try!

The daughter of Laureano Serres of Mendall, Alicia steps out with her first vintage showing that her talent for winemaking is in her genes. Located in Pinell de Brai, a town in Tarragona located in the heart of Terra Alta. Alicia and Laureano are a few meters from the Wine Cathedral, the work of the modernist Cèsar Martinell, a disciple of Gaudí, a local cooperative from where Laureano began his natural relationship with wine.
