Le Temps Fait Tout Rosé

Delightfully more-ish Languedoc rosé made with a mix of red and white grapes, Carignan, Grenache & Viognier, all of which are pressed directly. It's got this lick of give-me-more raspberry balsamic to the acidity that ensures things are mouthwateringly compelling. A rosé of depth and intrigue that can happily be enjoyed all year round.

Remi Poujol

Remi is one of the most well respected natural growers in the Languedoc, working tirelessly with two horses on his plots of land near the town of Pezenas Herault. He is commited to producing wine with no inputs and has long been a member of the S.A.I.N.S. association. Since 2002 he has been organic and since 2007 without sulphur, The soils are very complex because the source rocks are either derived from mineral limestones of the earth's crust or marine deposits, or basaltic from volcanism (some volcanoes nearby). Remi ploughs only with two horses, a philosophy illustrated helpfully in this video. Compared to a tractor the horses are light and do not compress the soil as much, which helps with soil health.

In fact he is almost as well respected in the equine world as he is for the quality of grapes he grows, which pop up in some negoce wines for great winemakers like Alice Bouvot of L'Octavin and Jean Louis Pinto of Es d'Aqui.

His own wines are honest, full of character and incredible value for money. All of them are worth ageing, in their youth the reds can have a particularly feral side, which with age becomes more mature and composed.
